The Wedding Invitation Ensemble
|
 |
|
Wedding Invitations are available in a wide variety of
designs, lettering styles and ink colors to let you
create a wedding that is distinctly you! Customizing
your invitations to fit your personality, unique style,
theme and mood of your wedding is important. That’s why
Celebrations! offers you virtually endless possibilities
in customizing. All invitation wording is selected or
created by you, including your choice of adding a
special verse. Invitations are used to inform all your
guests of your wedding date, time and location, but they
should also be a reflection of you and your wedding.
|
|
Make sure to order 25 extra invitations at the time
of your original order to avoid expensive reorders.
Ordering 25 more at a later date is considered a new
order, which is very costly. Extra invitations will
allow for addressing errors, and last minute additions
to your guest list. Before mailing, bring a completed
invitation (including any and all enclosures) to your
nearby post office to find out correct postage. Allow
enough time for guests to make appropriate arrangements
for your wedding by mailing your invitations
approximately eight weeks prior to your event.

The Outer Envelope
The larger, gummed envelope is the mailing
envelope. The recipient’s name and address should be
written on the front of the envelope. Names and
addresses should be written in full, without
abbreviations. The sender’s return address should be
printed on the back flap.

|
|
| |
The Inner Envelope
The smaller, ungummed envelope is used to hold
the invitation and enclosure cards and is inserted
into the outer envelope. The inner envelope should
have only the recipient’s title and surname
handwritten on the front, such as “Mr. and Mrs.
Jones”. The first name of children who are invited
may be written under the name of the parents, such
as
“Michael and Lisa”.

Lined Inner Envelopes
Add elegance to your invitations with
beautifully lined inner envelopes. The special touch
of a richly colored liner shows your guests you’ve
paid attention to every detail.

The Reception Card
Reception cards are enclosed with your
invitation to announce the time and location of the
wedding dinner, dance or other celebration.

The Respond Card
Response Cards provide an accurate guest count.
Guests return the card in the accompanying printed
envelope, indicating if they will attend. As a
courtesy, a stamp should be affixed to the envelope.
The respond card and envelope are enclosed with your
invitations.

The Informal or Thank You Note
Handwritten notes of thanks are essential to
guests for their gifts or contributions to your
wedding. Printed with your married names or monogram
on the front, these notes can be used as personal
stationery long after your wedding.
